Purposely dyed in red; lapels are decorated with a knot of xpococ (toads). In Mayan culture, xpococ sing directly from their hearts. According to belief, proper singing is executed through the heart; a part of the body that does not belong to the human being, nonetheless connects them to the spirit world.
